How descendants of the Mayflower passengers made their way west, and why they left the eastern seaboard. There are often few or no records. Essays will be evaluated for content, organization, style, references (publications and internet) and grammar. All entries and sources must be typewritten, and sources cited in appropriate bibliographic style. Factoids, where presented, are to be cited in the text at the end of the sentence where presented. For example: Small beer was consumed by sailors on long voyages (Blakely, 2017).
